[News] Sony Launches New Xperia X-Series of Phones
Sony has announced the New Zealand pricing and availability details for its new Xperia X Series smartphones, consisting of the Xperia XA, Xperia X and Xperia X Performance.
The Xperia XA and Xperia X will be available through Spark and Vodafone today, both online and in-store. The Xperia XA will launch through 2degrees on 4 July and the Xperia X Performance will launch on 11 July.
The Xperia XA will be available from Sony Stores and Sony Online early July, whilst the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance will be available mid-July. Sony pre-orders will be available from 2nd July. Exact timings and pricing will be available closer to the date.
The new Sony Xperia X series have improved cameras, and have screens that should be able to comfortably fit in your hand.
The Sony Xperia XA will become the world’s thinnest 5″ phone, and has a borderless edge-to-edge screen.
Both the Xperia X and XA devices are able to last at least a full day on a single charge.
Currently, Spark and Vodafone are offering the XA and X devices, while 2degrees Mobile are offering the XA and X Performance devices, available now.
The XA has an RRP of $499, X $999 and X Performance $1,199.
