[News] Google Play Store may get another “renovation” very soon
Are you getting bored of the current Google Play Store design? Well the company has been working on a redesigned version of the Play Store for Android. This source comes from Droid-Life, claiming they have had a play around with the new Play Store (no pun intended). You can view a preview of the new Play Store down below. The current Google Play Store design was rolled out last year (2012) in July
The new design looks to resemble the design of Google Now, because of the bigger images and that individual app listings are separated into little “cue” cards rather than being listed with the original list.
What has also changed are the colour schemes. No more “dark-ish” colour themes, and more of the “lighter” colours. Also the new Play Store looks to be more spacious than the older Play Stores or Market, and much more cleaner.
There is no official word from Google on when or if this change is actually taking place, but it is possible that Google will wait until their I/O in May to release the update for a redesigned Play Store. Maybe the latest is that they will unveil it with their new OS Key Lime Pie! (This goes for us New Zealanders as well!)
