[News] Panasonic NZ Launches Two High-Performance Wireless Headphones
Panasonic New Zealand has today launched its first range of wireless headphones designed for active New Zealanders and music lovers. The new headphones expand the Panasonic range of popular audio accessories, with two new high-performance wireless headphone models including the BTS50 and BTS30.
Designed to make athletes and active New Zealanders aim higher and push harder during their workouts, Panasonic’s WINGS wireless headphones deliver premium sound quality in a lightweight, flexible, comfortable and waterproof design.
Kiwis will enjoy the freedom of listening to their favourite music wirelessly whilst working out with Bluetooth technology. Wireless Bluetooth connectivity lets Kiwis easily pair their Bluetooth enabled device to the headphones and seamlessly stream music anytime, anywhere.
The BTS30 model headphones have an IPX4 splash proof design, which protects the headphones from sweat and light rain, and is available in the colours black, white, red and green.
The premium BTS50 model features IPX5 waterproofing for extra protection from rain and dirt, and can also be cleaned by washing the headphones under running water for quick and easy maintenance. This model also features stylish blue LED lights embedded along the edge of the headphones, providing increased visibility and safety for Kiwis who exercise early in the morning or at night in the dark during the winter months.
Chris Dick, Product Manager for AV Accessories at Panasonic New Zealand, says listening to music whilst working out is a huge motivator for many people.
“Our new WINGS headphones have been designed for anyone who enjoys listening to their favourite music whilst exercising. The clever wireless design and Bluetooth technology convenience means Kiwis will be able to move freely during their workouts, without wires getting in the way.”
Created for high-powered performance, their lightweight and compact design with flexible 3D ear hooks provides a secure and comfortable fit. They can be shaped to fit any user and with the quick-fit adjuster, WINGS headphones stay in place even during the hardest workout. Both models also come with three different ear pad sizes, to ensure a perfect and comfortable fit.
“When exercising, it’s important to have a pair of headphones that fit perfectly. Panasonic’s new WINGS headphones stay in place during your workout with their 3D-flex style ear hooks and quick-fit adjuster. They can also be easily adjusted for a comfortable fit,” says Chris.
The rechargeable battery offers six hours of playback on a full-charge, and if users are running on empty, a quick 15-minute charge delivers 70-minutes of non-stop playback. With WINGS, fitness fanatics will always be powered up and ready to go.
The BTS50 model has a 12mm driver compatible with aptX and AAC for a natural and robust sound quality. Both WINGS headphone models feature a flat cable which is routed behind the ear, touch noise is significantly minimised and a sharper and clearer sound quality is produced. Kiwis can also make and receive hands-free calls with the built-in microphone and when they are not in use, the convenient carry case keeps them safe.
