[News] Surface Pro 4 Type Cover with Fingerprint ID Now Available for Pre-Orders
Microsoft announced that the Surface Pro 4 Type Cover with Fingerprint ID in Onyx will be available in New Zealand and 25 additional markets.
Priced at $299.95, the Type Cover is now available for pre-orders on the Microsoft Store. The device will be available nationwide from Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming and JB Hi Fi, as well as commercial Surface Authorised Device Resellers, from March 15.
The Surface Pro 4 Type Cover with Fingerprint ID is an upgrade for current Surface users, especially so for Surface Pro 3 users who are looking to make use of Windows Hello touch capability. Passwords can be a thing of the past, by unlocking the device with one simple touch. The new Type Cover with Fingerprint ID can be magnetically attached/detached and should provide convenience for users wanting the best of both worlds: tablet and laptop mode.
In addition, the Type Cover has been redesigned to include a mechanical keyboard and an enlarged glass trackpad for easier tracking of the pad with your finger/s.
