[News] Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview Now Available
If you are a registered developer and have a developer unlocked Windows Phone, or even one with the Windows Phone Preview for Developers app installed, you should be able to update your phone to Windows Phone 8.1.
Windows Phone 8.1 has brought some new and exciting changes to the Windows Phone community including Cortana, a personal assistant on your phone, just like Siri. There is also a new notifications menu that you can open just by sliding down from the top, like Android and iOS phones can do already.
Windows Phone 8.1 is not yet available for consumers other than the registered developers, so Microsoft is still actively fixing bugs, adding/removing features as necessary.
To update your Windows Phone if you are eligible, all you have to do is go into settings, and check for a new software update.
What new features in Windows Phone 8.1 excite you the most? Sound off in the comments down below!
