[News] Microsoft OneNote App Now Available for Mac and Windows
Previous reports of a Mac version of Microsoft’s OneNote app to be made available has rung true. The new OneNote app is now available for download, free from the Mac App Store, and as a stand-alone application for Windows as well.
In addition to the new OneNote app for Mac, Microsoft have also released a dedicated stand-alone app for Windows as well. While the app is free to download, if you want additional features such as Outlook integration, SharePoint support and more, you will have to pay a premium for them, also known as a ‘Freemium’ business model.
Microsoft have also released the OneNote API to developers so they can incorporate OneNote features in their application if they want.
The OneNote software is now available on a majority of devices including: Android, Windows, Windows Phone, iPad, iPhone, Mac and via the web as well, using modern browsers.
A web-snipping tool also allows you to save webpages right to your OneNote notebook, and you can email your notes with [email protected] to save them into your OneNote notebook as well.
