[CES2014] The June Bracelet that Measures Sun Exposure on Skin
A new (feminine) bracelet that measures the amount of sun exposure on your skin, was announced today at CES. The “June” Bracelet is the first bracelet to measure the sun’s impact on your skin, and will also let you know via the connected smartphone how you can better look after your skin in relation to exposure from the sun.
The design is very appealing – a beautiful-looking jewel on a wristband. The wristband can only sync to an iOS device currently and we’re not sure if it will be supported on other mobile platforms.
When synced to the iOS device it can alert the user when the skin has had too much exposure to the sun, plus it can even monitor UV intensity, daily habits and can advise you how to take better care of your skin. Yes, you may have now noticed that this is more of a women-type of device; Guys can also try to wear it and it will probably look like you are wearing some sort of feminine jewellery on your wrist.
There are many fitness wristbands out there but this is the first wristband to measure the sun’s intensity, not to mention some of the other fitness wristbands may not look as clean and beautiful and “elegantly designed” as this one.
The June bracelet was designed by a French Jewellery designer named Camille Toupet, and the three colour options you can choose from are gold, platinum and gunmetal.
