My UE Speaker Collection
When it comes to speakers, my go to speaker would have be one of the UE speakers I have: the UE Megaboom, UE Boom or the UE Roll. These portable speakers with extremely good battery life and durability, produce some of the loudest sounds, while not getting distorted. The UE Megaboom, Boom and Roll all have 360-degree sound so people from every corner of the room can hear its full glory.
The best part about these speakers is that they are all water resistant and water proof. They also feel very durable to hold and is quite resistant to shock. This means it is able to be dropped to the floor and not make much of an impact at all!
All the UE speakers have dedicated apps for each speaker. They are able to do various things on the app, including setting up alarms to wake you up with music, pair two UE speakers together with ‘Double Up’, and change the EQ settings as well.
The UE Boom 2 (I have the original Boom) and Megaboom have just had a new feature released on them which allows you to talk to your speaker to play songs. Through the use of Siri and Google Now voice integration on the Boom 2 and Megaboom, you can say what you want to hear. All you have to do is quickly press the Bluetooth button on your speaker.
The UE Boom 2 and Megaboom also has a feature called Tap Control. Tap the top of the speaker once to play or pause a song and twice to skip songs. Easy.
Everybody fights for the right to play their music on the speaker, so this is where Block Party comes in. Two friends (yes only two for now unfortunately) can use the app and add their music to the DJ playlist.
The battery life is great on these speakers. They are able to last around 6-7 hours on one full charge!
If you are looking for some good party speakers which are loud, portable and durable, you should really give the UE branded speakers a good thought.
