[News] Google I/O 2014
Google will kick off its developers conference (Google I/O) tomorrow morning (26th of June) at 4AM NZT. We are expecting some big news from Google including some more information about the yet-to-be-announced new Android platform dubbed “L”, Android Wear – Google’s Android version for wearables, Google Glass, home automation software, and maybe some new information about their Nexus line of devices, including Android Silver. Android Silver attempts to regain control of Android from OEMs and attempts to prevent additional bloatware from being added on top of pure Android by manufacturers.
Lucky for us, Google will be live streaming the keynote here, so you can catch all the action live, uninterrupted (I can’t guarantee unexpected circumstances including your ISP outages etc though) and available on most platforms to watch! Again, the keynote starts at 4AM NZT on the 26th of June 2014.
If you have an Android device, you can download the Google I/O 2014 app here and view the latest (including the keynote livestream) right on your Android smartphone!
We shall have a brief recap on a separate blog post after the Google keynote, talking about what Google announced and/or didn’t announce, and what we thought about it.
