Why Should You Consider the Huawei Ascend P2?

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Huawei, but all opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Huawei Ascend P2

The Huawei Ascend P2 was the world’s first smartphone to support 4G download speeds of up to 150Mbps which is also known as CAT4 LTE. This means that theoretically, smartphones with CAT4 LTE are capable of downloading data up to 50% faster than other smartphones! And you must remember, 4G originally is already 10X faster than standard 3G! This means that you will be able to surf the web faster on your Huawei Ascend P2, watch YouTube videos without any buffering, and stream your music on Pandora smoothly, all while feeling like a little superhuman!

Reasons why you should consider the Huawei Ascend P2:

Reason 1 – It is Slim as a pencil and Light as a feather

Measuring just 8.4mm, it is considered to be one of the slimmest smartphones you could encounter. Plus weighing in at just 122 grams, the Huawei Ascend P2 is essentially as light as a feather!

     Reason 2 – 4G-Ready (“Superhuman” Speed)

As mentioned above, the Huawei Ascend P2 was the first smartphone in the world to support CAT4 LTE, theoretically meaning that it is capable of downloading up to 150Mbps!

     Reason 3 – A Super-Sensitive ‘Magic’ Screen

The Ascend P2’s big 4.7″ screen has fewer layers meaning it will respond to the lightest of touches and the ‘Magic’ screen Huawei put in on its Ascend P2 means that you will be able to wear gloves and still be able to touch the screen! Great for those freezing cold winter evenings!

     Reason 4 – A 13-Megapixel BSI Camera

The Ascend P2 has front and rear cameras with the rear camera being a 13-megapixel shooter with a dedicated camera button and has Backside-illumination. This means that more light is able to be captured at the pixel level meaning less digital noise and a higher low-light performance. Coupled with the HDR video recording, you will be able to take better video in low-lighting conditions.

Having awesome superhuman speeds isn’t the only good thing about the Huawei Ascend P2, but I think it should be enough for you to consider this device, firstly because of its reasonable price, and because most of the time, we are always on the net and we rely on these “superhuman” speeds to get where we’re going fast!

The Huawei Ascend P2 is currently $599 and can be purchased directly from Telecom NZ.
