[News] Press Event for Google on July 24th
If some of you don’t already know, Google has already sent out invitations to “a breakfast” with Sundar Pichai, the guy who is in charge of Android and Chrome OS. The press event for Google will be held in San Francisco, and will begin at 4AM NZT on the 25th of July! Gosh, all these events are always in the early hours of the morning for us Kiwis!
The press event will be live-streamed, as I saw in an invitation, but not sure where the live stream will be yet, nevertheless, we will be hosting a live-blog right here at 4AM NZT, so if you are a geeky (or not) morning lark and would like to see what Google has to offer on the day, please, please tune in to our live-blog at 4AM on the 25th of July! Make sure you get yourself some caffeine as well!
Some predictions (a.k.a leaks) have pointed out to us that the press event may feature talks about the new Android operating system, Android 4.3, and maybe an updated Nexus device. Either way, it will still be exciting to watch what Google will unveil this Thursday morning.
So again, please tune in to our live-blog on the morning of the 25th of July, or if you cannot make it, probably because you either have work that morning or you had a late-night shift etc, then the live-blog will still be up after the event has taken place, which means you will still be able to read through, in sequential order, what happened during the event!
