[Review] Breffo Spiderpodium Tablet Stand

Breffo Spiderpodium

The Breffo Spiderpodium is an amazing stand for which your smartphone or tablet can stand in.  It is named “Spiderpodium” because of its 8 bendable legs, which basically lets you hook the accessory any where you want it, whether it be propping the phone for a movie-viewing experience or simply just checking or typing your emails. Each of the 8 legs also has 3 segments in between, which make it easier for bending, but you don’t have to do it at those segments.

The point of the Spiderpodium is for it to grab your phone or tablet, to hold on to it, and then to flex out the legs to make it hold on to whatever you want it to, putting it flat on the desk, having a slight angle for the best movie-viewing experience, hooking it onto the car seat and many more. Just be creative!

And because it’s flexible, it will mould to fit all types of tablets, whether it is the iPad 2 or iPad Mini, or the Galaxy Note!

The thing that really made me like this product was that it is flexible in any way, and that it was lightweight but strong. It did not sacrifice the lightness for poor quality materials. In fact it is made of an Advanced ‘SoftTouch’ rubber material which also feels exceptionally good in the hand.

In previous designs, the Breffo Spiderpodium’s center piece was made of plastic, and therefore, there were reports of it snapping. But not in this revised design. Now the center piece is made of the same material as the rest of the product – the ‘SoftTouch’ rubber material, so now it is not prone to snapping.

The Breffo Spiderpodium tablet can be bought for around NZ$30, and you can find out more info from their website: http://euro.breffo.com/collections/spiderpodium-tablet
