[News] Apple releases new tweaked accessories
Since Apple has decided to introduce a shorter Thunderbolt cable last month, it follows a similar move in launching a new 0.5 meter Lightning-to-USB cable.
This new cable is half the length of the original Lightning cable which was included with the new iDevices, and provides an option for consumers wanting less cable clutter around their desks, or table-tops. But there is no price difference between the two different length-ed cable, both priced at $29 each.
Apple has also made another tweak, this time to its In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic. The only visible difference is that the remote design is more rounded, more in line with the remote seen in the company’s EarPods, which was launched late last year. The price has also remained the same, currently at $119.
