Huawei’s newest flagship smartphone, the Ascend P7, is now available in New Zealand.
The Ascend P7 boasts a 5-inch INCELL screen with full-HD and 441 PPI. It is powered by Huawei’s own Hisilicon Kirin 910T Quad-core chipset and 2GB of RAM.
This is packed into a slim 6.5mm body encased in aluminium and Gorilla Glass 3. The rear continues the glass look with Huawei’s 7-layer surface treatment which adds a spun metal texture under the glass finish – a Huawei exclusive design feature.
The Ascend P7 is powered by Google’s Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat operating system, enhanced with Huawei’s Emotion UI 2.3 which allows users to apply custom themes to customize the Ascend P7 to their liking.
It also features a 13MP rear camera with BSI (back-illuminated sensor) for incredible low light shots. ‘Selfies’ can be taken on the new 8MP front facing camera with the new panoramic selfie function for group shots.
The Ascend P7 incorporates Cat 4 4G LTE and penta-band 3G. To ensure you stay connected even when it’s a long time between charges, the Ascend P7 includes Huawei’s power saving features, allowing you to extend battery life as required.
The Huawei Ascend P7 has a recommended retail price of $699 and is available from the following stores:
